JOHN CALDECOTT, Interim Director of Classified Personnel

 

REGINA RAMOS, Senior Personnel Specialist
Regina Ramos is currently the Senior Personnel Specialist in the Personnel Commission Office at Lynwood Unified School District and has been employed with the District for a total of sixteen (16) years.

Ms. Ramos has been working in the Personnel Commission Office since 1999. Ms. Ramos has attended East Los Angeles College and Long Beach City College and is working on her Bachelor’s degree.  

 Ms. Ramos is a graduate of the California School Personnel Commission Association’s Merit Academy and has attended various trainings provided by the Personnel Testing Council, CSPCA and WRIPAC.  

ELVA RUIZ, Personnel Specialist
Elva Ruiz is currently a Personnel Specialist within the Personnel Commission Office at Lynwood Unified School District. Elva has been a classified employee of Lynwood USD for fifteen years and an employee within the Personnel Commission Office since July 2004.

Elva frequently attends training seminars to enhance her knowledge of the best personnel practices and the Merit System. Elva actively contributes to classified employment postings and is technically skilled with both NEOGOV and EDJOIN software for purposes of employment recruitment and selection.  Elva is also active with organizational development initiatives, helping design tools to promote employee professional development. 

Elva recently graduated from Los Angeles College with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Elva is currently working towards her BA.

VERONICA DE SANTIAGO, Personnel Technician

Veronica De Santiago is currently a Personnel Technician within the Personnel Commission Office at Lynwood Unified School District. Veronica has been a classified employee of Lynwood USD for ten years and an employee within the Personnel Commission Office since October 2007.

Veronica has been a great collaborator within the Personnel Commission office. She is technically skilled with NEOGOV, HRS, SubFinder and PC Products LLL software. Veronica is also active with organizational development initiatives, helping design tools to promote employee professional development.

Veronica has attended several Personnel Commissioner Association Northern/Southern Conferences, HRS training workshops at LACOE and various Classified Personnel employees’ workshops. Veronica maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the Merit System.

Ms. De Santiago is a graduate of Long Beach City College and hold an Associates Degree in Liberal Art and is excited to continue to purse her education.
